In the very same year,Stanley Milgram conducted his famous experiment in social psychology, “Obedience to Authority”. That indicated that 65% of the participants agreed to administer seemingly real electric shocks of increasing intensityto other men only because a figure of authority had instructed them to do so…The exhibition “Evil to the Core” addresses issues pertaining to docility and obedience to authority, conformism, social responsibility, disobedience, and non-conformism in general, and in Israeli society specifically.
